<image:caption>From a young age I felt a pull to pursue a profession that involved helping others and encouraging wellness, as well as an interest in neuropsychology. This naturally led me to pursue psychology and therapy as an adult, eventually graduating with a Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling & Counselor Education from Indiana University. I’ve worked with adults on issues related to depression, anxiety, and trauma, starting my own practice in Bloomington in 2018 after becoming licensed in the state of Indiana (#39003335A). After being further trained in EMDR and trauma focused Internal Family Systems, I’ve felt particularly pulled to work with developmental, relationship, sexual, and religious trauma. I’ve witnessed firsthand how liberating it is to finally process and heal trauma that has sometimes been stuck for years.</image:caption>

<image:title>Molly Eagleson Mental Health Therapist - Background.</image:title>
<image:caption>I received my Master’s degree in mental health counseling from Indiana University in 2016, and after becoming licensed started my private practice in 2018. Since then, my focus has been offering trauma informed care, not only to address symptoms related to individual abuse but also abuse from systems of power that inherently cause trauma. My stance is that being a therapist is political, and that it’s part of my job to advocate for equality and wellness for all. This is especially true for populations that are historically and continually targeted by systems of power- including but not limited to BIPOC, trans folks, and immigrants.
